National Geology Museum
Even if you are not a passionate geologist, the National Geology Museum promises to be an interesting activity. They have a wealth of material on display and although all of the captions are in Romanian, there are increasingly English translations alongside these. The Geology Museum hosts regular events, workshops and temporary exhibitions, including a summer school. The museum is opposite the Peasant Museum and backs onto Kiseleff Park.

A good collection even if the museum doesnt present it nicely. The mineralogic part is the most famous.
This is not the most exciting museum you will ever visit, but if you have young kids who like rocks, this can be fascinating for them. Two hours, maximum.
