sigurecSigurec have a recycling centre in Baneasa shopping city car park.  You can recycle plastic bags, paper, glass, styrofoam, electrical goods, light bulbs, batteries. It is staffed which is very useful for large items.  For the glass and cans and electrical goods you are paid via a voucher that you can spend at Carrefour or put back into the recycling program.

It is possible to arrange for them to collect from home if you have a significant amount of (pre-sorted) recycling.
