Miramagica
Miramagica is a small fairground in Herestrau Park (the area of the park north of the lake). The main attraction is a large ferris wheel, but they also have dodgems and a kids train track among the rides on offer.
A visit to Miramagica doesn’t have to be a long one (and it can’t really be, based on the number of rides there), but it is still a very enjoyable way to spend an hour in the park. You can extend your visit by going to one of the two play parks adjacent to the fair (these have equipment in for kids and toddlers, and one of which has recently been renovated), or by hiring a family bike (two adults, two kids – 35Lei a bike) or segway from the kiosk opposite. Miramagica backs onto the lake and this northern area of park is great to walk or bike around with kids.

My toddler and pre-schooler loved our ferris wheel ride here. It as a really fun way to spend an autumn afternoon – looking over at all the trees as their leaves changed colour.
After a few rides we played in the play park next door (to the left of the fair) and we were really impressed with the equipment there – lots of climbing for kids and in good condition too.
