La Trenulete
Sadly La Trenulete has now closed.
La Trenulete makes a trip to the cafe a lot more fun than it used to be. If you like trains or just want to have a one-of-a-kind experience, then you should stop here for a drink. At La Trenulete you place your order, and have your drinks served, using a model railway that runs around the entire cafe. It has to be seen to be believed!

I have been to this cafe with a 9 year old, a 7 year old, a 40 something year old and a grandad…they all loved it! What’s not to like? A non smoking cafe where the tables have station names, you order drinks (coffee and alcohol of course) by clicking a ticket and they are delivered on a train!
Take the metro to Piaza Muncii and its a ten minute walk.
No food, sometimes they have snacks.
We had a great time here with our pre-schooler and toddler; both of whom were mesmerised by the trains! A shame it is so far from Pipera, but worth making the drive. Top Tip – (assuming it’s not busy) split your drinks order into two different orders to keep the trains coming!!!
