Kiddo
Kiddo is a large indoor play area for kids on the first floor of Baneasa Mall (Feeria end – near Carrefour). There is a small soft play area for toddlers and babies (up to three years), but the majority of the space is taken up with a huge range of activities that will keep kids busy all day!
For adventure, there is the soft play zone including balls, slides and tunnels and is three stories high in places. In addition to this though there is a sport zone where you can try out running or your tennis reflexes, and for older kids there are three climbing walls (at extra cost). You can dress-up and put on a performance in the Show Time area, try out different art materials and skills in the Art Zone or use your imagination to create new worlds from the cool bricks or fun science experiments on offer.

Kiddos is quite a large play area (probably one of the largest in door kids play areas, so suitable also for slightly older kids – I would say 2-8 years), with quite a few different activities. Two of the more exciting things (which the older kids like to do), are laser tag and the climbing wall, both of which you have to pay extra for (besides the quite hefty entrance fee).
As of December 2015, they had three options for parties there. We did the middle option which includes a climbing session and 2 laser tag entrances for each kid. Not all kids did the activities. Food options are pretty standard, but you get to pick 5 items from a list, which was good, with some healthier options available. Although the second party option also includes things like “face paint” and “balloon sculpting [or something along that line?)”, they didn’t bother doing these for the kids (even though I had specifically asked for a good face painter because the one that they had at a previous event there was rubbish). My point is – if you choose the option with this in, just make sure you remind them to do it. The kids had a great time regardless and the assistant was very attentive and brought the cake and food out on time etc. The biggest negative is that they are quite pricey for any of the options. I negotiated that I didn’t have to pay for 2 of the small kids (just 2 years old), given that it was unlikely they would do any of the activities and they wouldn’t eat much anyway – they were pretty flexible, given we had quite a few kids coming. We also did our own cake, which they were fine with. The little kiosk which sells drinks and coffees and snacks is also nice for the parents and you can just run a tab.
