The garden is full of friendly bugs at the moment, so now is the time to try this craft idea!  It is super simple and so easy to customise.  Variations on this idea include making a spider or ant (just use two cupcake cases).

20160512_091629Start by flattening your cupcake cases. Then glue them (slightly overlapping) onto your sheet of paper.

Now all you need to do is decorate your caterpillar!  You can use cut up pipe cleaners for the antenae and/or legs.  Google eyes for the eyes (add eight eyes if you are making a spider!) and then coloured paper shapes or balls for further decoration.
