British School of Bucharest (BSB)

The British School of Bucharest (BSB) teaches a British Curriculum to Early Years, Primary and Secondary aged children.  The school is located in two stunning mansions in Pipera and facilities on site include a swimming pool, climbing wall, PE and dance studio and two libraries.

All of the teachers are first-language English speakers and have experience of teaching the UK curriculum. The Early Years Foundation Stage have a dedicated building and outdoor facilities and children aged 2-5 years old can start their education in Pre-Nursery, Nursery or Reception, before Year 1 of the British National Curriculum. Further up the school, in Year 11, students take IGCSE examinations and in Years 12 and 13 students take AS and A-Level examinations.

The British School of Bucharest also hosts a Toddler Group twice a week for parents to attend with their children.  This is run by parents and gives toddlers the opportunity to play, craft and sing together.  There is a Summer School that runs for four weeks in July and the school offers an extensive Co-Curricular Activity programme from 3-4pm.
